What comes with a Perfeito Studio painting

Every painting sold by Perfeito Studio arrives with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, a fiscal invoice or receipt, an Artwork Acquisition Agreement, an artist dossier, and care and preservation instructions, packed in secure professional packaging. It carries an internal Archive ID, and shipping itself is quoted separately, domestically and internationally, once a destination is confirmed.

What ships with every painting

Every original painting sold by Perfeito Studio leaves the studio with the same fixed set of items, regardless of size, series, or price. Nothing is added or removed case by case — it is the same package for a R$2,400 entry piece and an R$8,800 large-format work.

  • The painting itself, professionally packed for transit.
  • A signed Certificate of Authenticity, with full technical data and an internal Archive ID.
  • A fiscal invoice or official receipt issued by Perfeito Studio.
  • An Artwork Acquisition Agreement, covering transfer of ownership, copyright terms, and image rights.
  • An artist dossier — biography, series context, and the technical sheet for the specific work.
  • Care and preservation instructions for a heavily textured mixed-media surface.

Shipping itself is quoted separately, on request, once a destination is confirmed — it is not bundled into the acquisition price.

Inside the Certificate of Authenticity

The certificate is the document a collector is most likely to reach for years later — at resale, at insurance renewal, or simply to answer a guest's question. It records the artwork title, series, year of completion, medium and materials, dimensions, a studio photograph of the piece, the internal Archive ID, the artist's signature and date, and Perfeito Studio's own identification.

It is issued in physical form and signed by hand by Alyne Perfeito at delivery; a digital PDF version is available on request for insurance or shipping paperwork. A QR code printed on the certificate links to the artwork's official page on perfeito.studio, so the record can be checked at any point after the sale — a lightweight substitute for the provenance file a gallery or auction house would keep on its own letterhead.

The paperwork behind the certificate

Two more documents sit alongside the certificate. The fiscal invoice or official receipt is the tax record of the sale, issued directly by Perfeito Studio. The Artwork Acquisition Agreement is the contract: it states that ownership transfers to the buyer, sets out the copyright terms, and addresses image rights — who may photograph and publish the work, and under what conditions.

The artist dossier is different in kind — not a legal document, but context. It gives the piece's place within its series, a short biography of Alyne Perfeito, and the technical sheet a collector, insurer, or future appraiser would want on file.

Packaging, shipping, and what is not included

Every acquisition includes secure professional packaging, built for a canvas with sculpted texture, gold leaf, or metallic pigment — surfaces a standard art-shipping box is not designed to protect. What is not fixed in advance is the shipping itself: it is quoted on request once a destination is known, domestically by postcode (typically up to 15 business days) and internationally per country. Shipping is paid by the buyer, along with any import duties or taxes the destination country applies — Perfeito Studio does not absorb or pre-estimate these costs, since they vary by country and change over time.

One item that is not included by default: a frame. Most paintings ship unframed, with finished gallery edges, ready to hang as they are. Framing or a float-mount can be arranged at the buyer's request, at the buyer's cost, before the piece ships.

From the studio

Why the paperwork matters to me

I started numbering every canvas before I ever sold one — a habit from architecture, where nothing leaves the office without a drawing number. That's where the Archive ID came from; it isn't paperwork I added because someone suggested it, it's how I've kept track of my own work since I began this catalog.

I sign every certificate by hand, at the moment I hand a piece over, because that's the moment I actually know the work is finished — not when the paint dries, but when it leaves the studio. The care instructions are specific to what's on that particular canvas: a piece built with texture paste or gold leaf needs different handling than one that's flat acrylic, and I write that difference myself rather than reuse a generic conservation sheet.

Frequently asked

Is the Certificate of Authenticity signed by hand?

Yes. The certificate is issued in physical form and signed by Alyne Perfeito at delivery; a digital PDF version is available on request. It carries a QR code linking to the official artwork page on perfeito.studio, so the record can be verified at any time.

Does the painting come with a fiscal invoice?

Yes. Perfeito Studio issues a fiscal invoice or an official receipt with every acquisition, alongside the signed Artwork Acquisition Agreement. Together they document the sale and the transfer of ownership.

What does the Artwork Acquisition Agreement cover?

It documents the transfer of ownership, the copyright terms, and the image rights associated with the piece.

Is the painting framed when it ships?

Most paintings from Perfeito Studio ship unframed and ready to hang, with finished gallery edges. Framing or a float-mount can be arranged at the buyer's request before shipping, at the buyer's cost.

Who pays for shipping, and is it included in the price?

Shipping is not included in the painting's price. It is paid by the buyer, along with any import duties or taxes in the destination country, and is quoted separately once a destination is confirmed — domestically by postcode, internationally per country on request.

Does every painting have an Archive ID?

Yes. Every piece in the studio's catalog carries an internal Archive ID, in the format AP-SERIES-YEAR-NNN, which appears on the Certificate of Authenticity and identifies the work permanently in the studio's own records.
